Katie Price has revealed that she and Alex Reid are trying for a baby.

Speaking on GMTV this morning, Katie said: "Me and Alex so want kids. We are trying, so let's hope, let's hope.

"I can't wait to get pregnant."

Meanwhile, Alex has reached out to Peter Andre, following the Aussie's tearful interview last week.

The cage-fighter said: "I've got no problem with Pete and am not trying to replace him in the kids' lives in any way.’

Katie also spoke out against claims that her and Alex are already on the rocks.

Speaking on this morning's GMTV, Katie said that she and Alex were "so happy", and blasted claims that they were set to split, just a week after the wedding: "If people really believe this there has got to be something wrong. It's a joke."

"What have I actually done wrong?"

Both Katie and Alex have also given more details about their Las Vegas wedding.

Alex said: "The ceremony was at the Wynn hotel and we kept it pretty simple. There are pictures of us choosing our rings but it's a secret how much they cost."

Katie denied reports that she had sold her wedding to a magazine: "As it stands we have not done a magazine deal.

Katie also appeared on Chris Moyles' Radio 1 show today and explained she had been engaged to Alex since last September, despite reports that the pair split in November because of Alex's plans to propose.

Katie also revealed to Chris that she is planning legal action against the Daily Star following allegations that her marriage was on the rocks.

Since splitting with Katie Price, Peter Andre apparently hasn't slept with anyone else.

But, it looks like that might be about to change.

Pete's revealed he doesn't think he can wait any longer.

Speaking to The News Of The World, he said: "OK, OK, I'm desperate for sex. It's been a long time. But it's a whole new ball game. I'm a different man, I want a different type of girl. I'm definitely cautious about women now.

"It's going to take me a long time to trust someone. I haven't done anything yet apart from think about it, but I don't want to be a monk."

It looks like he's spent his post-split time thinking about his perfect partner: "Cheryl Cole and Keira Knightley are gorgeous. They're definitely my type of girl, even though they're both taken. The weird thing is Kate was never my type...

"I fell for Kate because she was different to how I imagined, she had no make-up on and jungle clothes. I just fell in love with that girl."

Peter also hinted at some of the reasons he split with Katie: "Ultimately, a marriage has to be about trust. Once that trust is gone...

The beefy cage-fighter, currently holed up in the Celebrity Big Brother house, has shared intimate details of his relationship with the glamour girl known as Jordan.
