Britney Spears Wants Sole Custody Of Her Two Sons!

It looks like Britney Spears is ready to be a full-time mom again. The 28-year old singer reportedly wants to take over sole custody of her two boys, Sean Preston, 5, and Jayden James, 4, from ex-husband and former back-up dancer Kevin Federline, 32. The exes have joint custody of the kids but they live with their dad. Britney would apparently like to change that and have the boys live with her and boyfriend, and former agent, Jason Trawick.

Britney wants baby no. 3, and she hopes it’s a girl!

“It’s getting harder and harder for her to hand the boys back to Kevin after each visit,” a source close to the pop star told Closer magazine. “Britney dreams of marrying Jason and having the kids live with them — she’d even like to have more children too. She won’t be happy until the boys are with her full-time.”

The problem with this, though, is that Kevin has no intention of giving up custody. While the relationship between the two is amicable (word is that Kevin gets along well with Jason and thinks he’s a good influence on Britney), Britney currently pays Kevin $15,000 per month in child support. She has apparently offered to continue these payments even if she were to get sole custody, but he has refused. “He’s told her she can visit them every day but there’s no way he’s handing them over full time,” the source said. “But he’s told her he fears she’s still too unstable and could go off the rails again.”

Kevin may have a point as TMZ is reporting that Britney is likely to remain under a conservatorship next year. She was placed under the care of her father, Jamie, in January 2008 after suffering a meltdown that led to her being held in a psychiatric ward at an LA hospital.

Kate Moss and Jamie will marry

The Kills' guitarist has allegedly proposed to the supermodel following a whirlwind romance that started in September 2007.

Hince is thought to have flown to Mustique, St. Tropez, to meet his model lover and propose with an extravagant diamond ring, The Daily Mail reported.

The 40-year-old asked Kate's Topshop boss and friend, Philip Green, to help him choose the right ring and popped the question on her 36th birthday.

The couple already live together and sources say Jamie gets on well with Kate's eight-year-old daughter Lila Grace, so marriage would be the next step.

Kate's love-life has suffered in the past as turbulent relationships with Pete Doherty and Johnny Depp left her heartbroken.

Madonna to have Jesus ...

The 51-year-old 'Celebration' singer is reportedly going to start trying to conceive with her Brazilian model boyfriend Jesus Luz - who she has been dating for around two years.

A friend of Madonna - who already has four children, Lourdes, 13, Rocco, nine, and adopted Malawian tots David and Mercy, who are both four - told The Sun newspaper: "She says motherhood is her greatest achievement and the most fulfilling thing in her life.

"She knows that, at 51, it's going to be harder to conceive naturally. But she is Olympic-athlete fit and is ready for the challenge."

Jesus, 22, is said to be as keen to have a baby as his pop superstar lover.

They said: "Jesus is very religious and deeply in love with her. He adores her kids but has always wanted a child of his own. He told her fatherhood would be his greatest adventure and that he wanted to go on this journey for her."

However, Madonna is unlikely to make him her third husband, with Jesus previously saying he was not ready to get married.

He said: "There's no truth in this rumor. I am too young to get married."

MOLLY SHANNON ENCOURAGES LIFE Insurance

Actress and former Saturday Night Live cast member Molly Shannon won’t be looking for laughs . Sharing her family’s story of loss and financial struggle, she hopes to encourage people to get serious – about protecting their family’s finances. Ms. Shannon is this year’s national spokesperson for Life Insurance Awareness Month, an industry-wide campaign coordinated by the nonprofit LIFE Foundation.

Ms. Shannon was just four years old when she was in a car accident that took the lives of her 33-year-old mother, her cousin and younger sister. Ms. Shannon survived the crash, along with her father and older sister, but her father was badly injured in the accident and was unable to work for several years. Her mother, a school teacher, didn't have any life insurance coverage, which could have helped alleviate some of the family’s financial strain. Even today, Ms. Shannon remembers the sacrifices her dad had to make in order to provide for his two daughters.

"The accident changed our lives dramatically. In an instant, my dad became a single parent and the only breadwinner for our family. Even at a young age, I was well aware of the financial and emotional stress he was under,” she said. “People don’t like to think about bad things happening to them, but putting off the decision to deal with that possibility can have serious consequences.”

Married with two young children, Ms. Shannon considers life insurance a necessity that enables her to live her life with peace of mind, knowing that her loved ones will be taken care of no matter what the future holds. “My personal experience led me to start thinking about life insurance when I first became pregnant. Now I can’t imagine not having it in place as a financial safety net for my family,” she said.

Ms. Shannon plans to share her story during September through public appearances and interviews with newspapers, magazines and radio and television stations around the country. A video message from Ms. Shannon can be seen on LIFE’s website at www.lifehappens.org throughout the campaign. In addition, she will help boost industry excitement for Life Insurance Awareness Month at the annual convention of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors in Washington, D.C, on September 10, 2007. That same day, she will join industry representatives and notable lawmakers at a reception on Capitol Hill to emphasize the importance of public policy that encourages Americans to purchase life insurance.

“Molly’s story is a prime example of how life insurance could have made a huge difference for a family had it been in place before tragedy struck,” said David F. Woods, CLU, ChFC, LUTCF, president of the LIFE Foundation. “No family should have to experience tough financial consequences on top of the emotional strain that comes when a loved one dies, yet 68 million adult Americans do not have any life insurance and millions more lack adequate protection. We are delighted that Molly is lending her voice to encourage Americans to take action now to get the life insurance coverage they need to protect their families.”

In addition to securing Ms. Shannon’s participation in Life Insurance Awareness Month, LIFE will spend millions of dollars in September to help educate consumers about the benefits of life insurance and working with a qualified insurance professional. LIFE will sponsor a series of radio public service announcements, post new life insurance content on its website and blog, conduct aggressive outreach to the consumer news media, and spend millions on online and print advertising, including the annual realLIFEstories special section in the September 10, 2007 issue of Newsweek. LIFE will also announce the winners of its third annual LIFE Lessons Essay Contest, a college scholarship program in which students write essays and submit videos recounting the financial and emotional impact of losing a parent at a young age.

Each year, more than 100 leading insurance companies and industry trade groups participate in Life Insurance Awareness Month and collectively spend millions of dollars on a wide range of marketing communications efforts to increase public awareness about the importance of life insurance. Some of the nation’s top companies participating this year include State Farm, AEGON, New York Life, MassMutual, John Hancock, Penn Mutual, Guardian, AXA, Principal Financial Group, Nationwide, Southern Farm Bureau, COUNTRY Financial, Farm Bureau Financial Services AIG/American General, and Prudential.

CELEBRITY HELPS FOR HAITI

Since Haiti was tragically struck by a 7.0 earthquake earlier this week, dozens of celebrities have gone to Twitter, YouTube and given interviews, asking the public to help out and donate funds to help the island nation, but Rosie O’Donnell thinks they need to do much more.

The outspoken former “View” moderator said she hopes if a telethon is put together, celebrities will do more than show up and ask the public to dig deep. She believes the stars asking for money need to dig deep themselves.

“I hope [there’s] not another telethon on the air, and if there is one, there should be a demand that every person who participates donates a minimum, because it was very infuriating to me after 9/11, to see millionaires asking the people in the country for their, you know, pennies,” Rosie told a group of journalists on Thursday evening after presenting a Television Critics Association panel on her new HBO documentary, “A Family Is A Family Is A Family: A Rosie O’Donnell Celebration.”

While a Haiti relief celebrity-led telethon appears to be taking shape, Rosie said based on the past, the stars really need to be reaching into their own pockets.

“It’s like, if you’re gonna go on and you’re a millionaire, please give a million dollars. Like, there should be a cover charge to do those, in my opinion,” she said of star’s on telethons. “I think everyone should do what they can and if a celebrity can bring attention to a cause or inspire someone to give…

“I think celebrities should step up and America should stop asking for just their presence at a publicized event,” Rosie added. “They should also demand their money.”

But the SIRIUS XM radio host had praise for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who almost immediately chipped in $1 million toward Haiti relief. And she defended them against critics who suggested the couple have done charitable works in the past for publicity’s sake.

“When you look at Brad and Katrina — somebody asked a question before about what they had done and if they had done it for press reasons, which I think is absurd,” she said. “There are so many other ways for them to get press than to go build houses for those who have lost theirs and in a time when the government was not doing nearly enough.”

“I know that Brad and Angelina gave a million dollars to [help out in Haiti] as well as all they’ve done in New Orleans,” she added.

Celebrity bling is going to go to a good cause this weekend.

Jewelry Designer Raju Rasiah has decided to donate all his jewelry that stars wear to the Golden Globes and SAG Awards through his Web site to the Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund.

Stars such as Cheryl Hines (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”), Kate Flannery (“The Office”), Eva LaRue (“CSI: Miami”), and Stephen Lang (“Avatar’) will be wearing Rasiah’s jewelry to the awards shows over the next two weeks, including a $15,000 ring with ¾ diamond carats and a 12-carat star sapphire to be worn by Hines to the SAG Awards.

Rasiah hopes that the ring will raise between $20,000 & $30,000 dollars for Haitian relief.
