Miley Cyrus Supporting Same Sex Marriage

The equal sign permanently inked on Miley Cyrus‘ ring finger stirred up quite the controversy when she first posted a picture of it on Twitter in August 2011. The 19-year-old had to ward off angry fans who called her out on “not being Christian” because she supports gay rights. Now the pop star speaks out in Glamour through an essay she wrote about the tattoo — and we couldn’t be more proud of her!

“Imagine finding someone you love more than anything in the world, who you would risk your life for but couldn’t marry. And you couldn’t have that special day the way your friends do—you know, wear the ring on your finger and have it mean the same thing as everybody else. Just put yourself in that person’s shoes. It makes me feel sick to my stomach,” she says in Glamour.

“When I shared a picture of my tattoo on my Twitter page and said, “All LOVE is equal,” a lot of people mocked me—they said, ‘What happened to you? You used to be a Christian girl!’ And I said, ‘Well, if you were a true Christian, you would have your facts straight. Christianity is about love.’ The debate resulted in a lot of threats and hate mail to people who agreed and disagreed with me. At one point I had to say, ‘Dude, everyone lay off.’ Can’t people have friendly debates about sensitive topics without it turning into unnecessary threats?”

Miley goes on the explain that if her own dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, who she describes as a “man’s man” can accept same-sex marriage — so can the rest of America.

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore‘s marriage may have survived multiple partners in the bedroom, but apparently Ashton’s fling with sexy 22-year-old Sara Leal was the final straw!

Demi, 49, decided that 33-year-old Ashton’s infidelity was too much to handle, US Weekly reports.

“The final straw with Sara Leal has just been too humiliating for Demi to get over,” a source close to the couple said. “[She] just couldn’t look at Ashton the same way and the marriage… completely unraveled. She still loves Ashton but feels he went too far and disrespected her and their marriage in a way that can’t be taken back.”

Demi also felt the need to be a strong role model.

“She wants to set an example for her daughters and this was just something she could not rationalize to them or to herself,” the source said. “She really tried everything she could to forgive him and accept his apologies. At the end of the day, the public humiliation and the example she was setting by staying in the marriage just wasn’t the right thing for her.”

Nicole Richie & Joel Madden Reportedly Getting Married Dec. 11!

What exciting news! Nicole Richie, 29, and Joel Madden, 31, are reportedly tying the knot Dec. 11 at Nicole’s father Lionel Richie’s house in a small “winter-themed” ceremony. “Nicole is obsessed with the season,” a source tells Us Weekly.

Preparations are already underway. On Dec. 3, the tables and chairs were delivered and more moving trucks were spotted at Lionel’s house Dec. 7.

“A stage is being built over the pool in the backyard so the guests will have more space to dance,” another source tells RadarOnline.com. “It’s kind of cool because people will be dancing on top of the water.”

Nicole even made a trip to NYC on Dec. 3 to be fitted for her Marchesa wedding gown.

“Nicole brought her stylist Simone Harouche with her,” an insider tells Us. “A lot of thought went into her dress — it was a priority for her.” “She’s deciding between two dresses: Marchesa and vintage Chanel,” adds another source.

Joel and Nicole have decided to keep the guest list tight. “Mindy [Weiss, the wedding planner] called all of the guests personally,” a friend of the couple tells Us.

“She didn’t invite a bunch of her celeb friends,” an insider explains to RadarOnline.com. “This has apparently upset a bunch of people.”

But certain stars like Christina Aguilera and Lindsay Lohan’s ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson will most likely be in attendance.

Nicole’s 2-year-old daughter Harlow will be the flower girl, and Lionel will escort Nicole down the aisle. Nicole’s best friend, Masha Gordon, will be her maid of honor and Joel’s twin brother, Benji Madden, will serve as best man.

Madonna & Jesus Split?

Madonna and her boyfriend Jesus Luz have reportedly split.

The couple have allegedly ended their relationship because of busy schedules and their 28-year age gap.

And the rumour is it's Jesus who called it quits.

"It not only was totally amicable, but it was Luz who initiated the split," a source told the Chicago Sun-Times.

The Material girl began dating the Brazliian model after they met on a photoshoot for W magazine in 2008, shortly after her divorce from Guy Ritchie was finalised.

It's been over a month since the pair was pictured together so we're not holding out much hope the rumours are false.

Jennifer Garner's divorce

The 37-year-old actress realised she needed help following her split from actor Scott Foley in 2003 because she couldn't express her real feelings.

She said: "I had a lot of growing up to do.

"I don't like toargue. But back then, I couldn't have a fight. I couldn't work things out because I wasn't able to say what I needed to say. It was a huge heartbreak for me. So I went to work on it. I started therapy."

Jennifer is now happily married to Ben Affleck - with who she has two daughters, Violet, four, and 12-month-old Seraphina - and the couple make sure they spend time together without the children to keep the romance alive.

She explained to Parade magazine: "You steal the time. You steal a date, you steal a kiss, you steal a whisper. After the kids are asleep you... well, you know. Whatever it is. You slip away for a night."

The 'Juno' star also admits she sometimes struggles with being a working mother.

She said: "I hate to miss even one bedtime with my girls. I understand that being an actress as well as being at home isn't some heroic thing. That doesn't mean it isn't confusing or difficult - especially that question of how you find a balance."

Hince is thought to have flown to Mustique, St. Tropez, to meet his model lover and propose with an extravagant diamond ring, The Daily Mail reported.

The 40-year-old asked Kate's Topshop boss and friend, Philip Green, to help him choose the right ring and popped the question on her 36th birthday.

The couple already live together and sources say Jamie gets on well with Kate's eight-year-old daughter Lila Grace, so marriage would be the next step.
