Lady Gaga takes HIV test
The 23-year-old said she made sure to get a sexual health screening in New York because she 'forgot to look after her body properly when performing live shows for The Monster Ball Tour concerts', Showbiz Spy reported.
"I had an HIV test two days ago – and it's not because I'm taking my clothes off every night with a different man.
"When I'm on the road, I forget about taking care of my body. I don't go to the doctor as regularly as if I were in one place all the time.
"So I woke up and though, 'Oh, I'm home in New York. I'm going to see my gyno and I'm getting an HIV test'," she said.
The Brit Award winning pop star actively encourages women to carry condoms in their purses to save their own lives.
She says she wants it to be fashionable and smart to always carry a condom.

It looks like Britney Spears is well and truly back on form as she shoots campaign shots for American fashion line Candie's.
The star is being photographed by Annie Leibovitz, Mark Seliger and Terry Richardson for the spring adverts for the brand. 
Britney is pretty in pink as she teams up with the photography superstars for the ads.
Britney has a lot to be happy about - her tight as a drum tum and perfectly toned legs for a start.
