Britney Spears has appeared in court with her father.The judge involved in her ongoing court case, which oversees her father's involvement in her legal affairs, wanted to see the singer for a progress review.
Britney's father took control of her affairs following her breakdown two years ago and now the pop star wants to take part in a charity auction - but needs the court's agreement.
Britney's lawyers sought permission to auction off her 2008 MTV Video Music Awards dress to raise money for Haiti earthquake relief.
Her court-appointed attorney Samuel Ingham told the judge that she was "very enthusiastic about the idea for a donation to Haiti".
The judge approved the donation of the dress and Britney can now add her name to the long list of celebrities doing their bit for Haiti.
Britney's father will continue to control her legal affairs until she proves to the court that she's able to manage them herself.
