Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have put on a united front, just one week after rumours of a split.

The high-profile couple attended the 62nd Annual Directors Guild Of America awards in LA on Saturday night, after missing last week's Sag awards.

According to onlookers, the couple, who didn't pose together on the red carpet, were giggling and being affectionate all evening.

Angelina wore a strapless Elie Saab gown and gold hoop earrings and happliy signed autographs for fans.

Brad, 46, still sporting his scruffy beard, smiled happily for photographers and gave a jokey speech about director Quentin Tarantino: "He is a joy to work for and he is a joy to work with and if you have happened to have forgotten what you loved about movies in the first place, I tell you, you only have to spend one night with Quentin. Not in that way."

The move follows a week of press reports claiming the couple, who are not married, are due to part ways and each walk away with a £250 million split settlement and joint custody of their six children.

The rumors were true! Michael Jackson's kids attended the Grammy awards and accepted his posthumous lifetime achievement award.

This was their first public appearance since their father's memorial service.

"We're proud to be here to accept this award on behalf of our father, Michael Jackson," said Prince, as he tried to hold back tears. "First we'd like to thank God for watching over us for these past seven months and our Grandma and Grandpa for their love and support. We'd also like to thank the fans. Our father loved you so much since you were always there for him."

Since splitting with Katie Price, Peter Andre apparently hasn't slept with anyone else.

But, it looks like that might be about to change.

Pete's revealed he doesn't think he can wait any longer.

Speaking to The News Of The World, he said: "OK, OK, I'm desperate for sex. It's been a long time. But it's a whole new ball game. I'm a different man, I want a different type of girl. I'm definitely cautious about women now.

"It's going to take me a long time to trust someone. I haven't done anything yet apart from think about it, but I don't want to be a monk."

It looks like he's spent his post-split time thinking about his perfect partner: "Cheryl Cole and Keira Knightley are gorgeous. They're definitely my type of girl, even though they're both taken. The weird thing is Kate was never my type...

"I fell for Kate because she was different to how I imagined, she had no make-up on and jungle clothes. I just fell in love with that girl."

Peter also hinted at some of the reasons he split with Katie: "Ultimately, a marriage has to be about trust. Once that trust is gone...

He also said: "And I honestly would like to see Kate happy. I'd like her to find a man responsible enough to be a good influence on her and my children. If she met someone like that, I'd be happy."
