We were always told that President Obama was a man of the people.

We never thought we'd say it, but we've spotted Khloe Kardashian hanging out in the White House with her new pal Barack.

We wonder what on earth they had to talk about...

Khloe was in the East Room at the White House for a ceremony honouring the Los Angeles Lakers 2008-2009 NBA basketball champions.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is married to Lakers forward Lamar Odom.

We wonder if Obama will be keeping in touch with his new acquaintance?

SHAKIRA AT OXFORD UNIVERSITY

Shakira's gone to Oxford University.

But fear not - it isn't a sudden change of career.

The Colombian singer, famed for her hip-wiggling dance moves, is the latest in a line of high-profile people to speak at the Oxford Union.

Shakira was invited to take to the stage in front of 400 students yesterday.

The modest star said: "So how do I go from Barranquilla, Colombia, to the same stage as Newton and Churchill?

"Lord knows I'm no Mother Teresa."

Shakira's a goodwill ambassador for Unicef children's fund and has run her own kids' charity since she was 18.

And although she said she found it a "privilege" to be invited to talk at the world-renowned debating society, she admitted she felt a bit confused.

"I am somewhat mystified as to why you are here, as there won't be any hip-shaking whatsoever."

Oxford Union spokesman Conan McKenzie said Shakira's philanthropy was one reason she was invited to speak.

But he added: "She's an immensely popular singer with a large fan base among Oxford students.

"And the Oxford Union has a tradition of inviting a wide variety of speakers."

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie is totally bowled over by partner Brad Pitt’s newfound talent – photography.

The ‘Mr. And Mrs. Smith’ actress revealed that Pitt is totally a fervent photographer and follows each detail that goes with it.

“I love his photography, some people have a hobby and they find the quickest way to it and are very pleased with the outcome right away. But he’s someone who will really study the camera,” The Daily Express quoted Angelina, as saying.

“He’ll get the most complicated one and really understand the science behind it,” she added.

The 32-year-old actress even posed as Brad’s muse for one of his candid photographs, one of them featuring her breastfeeding one of her twins.

“He’s very critical of his work,” she said.

"I’ll see a photograph and think it’s amazing but he’ll see all the different reasons why it can be better and he’ll work very, very hard to improve it,” Angelina added

There's no doubt Jessica Alba's one hot young actress.

But she's the first to admit her body's not perfect.

And she wouldn't have it any other way.

Since giving birth to her daughter Honor 18 months ago, 28-year-old Jessica says she's learnt to live with stretch marks, cellulite and saggy boobs.

She told the February issue of Self magazine: "Pregnancy was the most incredible experience I've ever had.

"So I'll take the stretch marks. I'll take the sagging boobs. I'll take the cellulite I can never get rid of."

In fact, Jessica refuses to see such bodily marks as flaws.

She continues: "If you walk around with your head held high and you're happy and positive, then all that other stuff is irrelevant.

"Confidence is number one."

When it does all get too much for her, Jessica says she seeks comfort in her gorgeous daughter and her husband, film producer Cash Warren.

"Honor is the best cure for stress. When I spend time with her, I get instant perspective.

"I can be hard on myself if I don't do everything perfectly. But now that I have her, there's no time for that.

"I want to teach her that you can learn from your mistakes, and if you keep moving and stay positive and loving, everything will work out."

Is Kerry Pregnant ?

It wouldn't exactly be great timing.

But, it seems Kerry Katona might be pregnant with her fifth child, her third with husband Mark Croft.

Something which her spokesperson hotly denies, however.

The is-she-or-isn't-she debate began when the ex-Atomic Kitten singer supposedly announced the good news on Twitter.

"Kerry" said she was sharing the news to put an end to stories claiming she left fitness boot camp early because she just couldn't hack it.

The Twitter announcement said: "I had to leave cos i found out that i me and mark are having another baby! Yep!!! We are dead shocked but OVER THE MOON!" (sic)

She reportedly added later: "I wouldnt normally say this early on but we have had a early scan and all looks well! Im just past 7 weeks! I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!"

With rumours that Kerry's Cheshire mansion is on the brink of being repossessed, now might not be the most convenient time for Kerry to add to her brood.

But that hasn't dented Kerry's seemingly good mood as dozens of followers Tweeted to wish her well.

She wrote: "Me and mark wanna say thanks for all the congrats! Im touched to know u lot care :) does this mean i can now eat my beef curry guilt free!"

But things might not be what they seem.

Sky Showbiz called Kerry's spokeserson direct who confirmed: "She's not pregnant, it's a fake Twitter account."

Well, one thing's for sure - life's just one big rollercoaster for this mum of four.
