Biography
Katie Featherston was born in North Texas in 1982, and has two younger siblings. She attended Southern Methodist University, a private college near Dallas, to study acting. While there, Featherston appeared in seven different SMU theater productions before graduating in 2005 with a BFA in acting. She promptly moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

Katie Featherston then began to appear in a string of independent films, including landing the lead in Private Lives, F.A.T. and The Scorekeeper. She had supporting roles in First Light, Mutation and 2009's Walking Distance.
