Zac Efron goes to bed with wet hair to make it look dishevelled.
The 'High School Musical' hunk — who developed a huge teenage fanbase after starring in the musical Disney films — has revealed he allows his locks to dry naturally overnight because this makes his "messed up" style last throughout the day.
He told TIME.com: "I've never told anyone this before. This is a hair scoop. Shower before you go to bed, and then sleep on your wet hair. Towel-dry it. In the morning, it's all messed up naturally. If you have that messed-up thing going when you wake up, it's more willing to stay that way. That's Zac's hair tip."
This is not the first time Zac has revealed his hair-styling tips.
The 22-year-old star recently admitted he opted for the messy style because he was lazy.
He explained: "Someone said to me that guys are trying to copy my hairstyle, but to be honest, this hairstyle is derived from laziness. I wake up and go — that's it. There's no product in it, nothing.
"If you really want your hair to look good, just don't wash it for a day. That's my secret."
