Ms James claims she has more than 60 minutes of ‘action’ on tape and is looking for at least £200,000 for the action.
‘The tape is 62 minutes long and 37 minutes of it is us having sex,’ she told the Radar Online website.
'We are flying to Los Angeles to meet with Vivid [an adult film company] about selling the tape,’ she said.
The 29-year-old said if she didn’t get her asking price, she would release the tape herself.
‘If Vivid won’t pay enough, we’re going to self-release the tape... It’s going to be the bomb,’ she warned.
It isn’t clear whether news of the potential scandal had reached Woods in Wales.
The 34-year-old struck an isolated figure as he arrived for golf’s premier team event earlier this week, posing awkwardly on the steps of the aircraft alongside his team-mates and their Wags.
James has been a constant thorn in his side since the sex scandal broke.
She claims Woods fathered her nine-year-old son but has never had a DNA test to support her claim.
James also published more than 100 graphic sex text messages allegedly sent to her by the golfer.
She claims Woods paid her $2,000 to have sex with him and another woman.
Woods was divorced by his long suffering wife, Elin Nordegren, in August.
